Paws & Pints

This little jewel opens up on September 22nd and safe to say I have already bought my membership. Not only is it a huge dog park with water toys, obstacle courses, and play spaces for doggie dates but it also a bar/bagel/coffee shop for humans! And the best part is?! 5 Boroughs is the coffee/bagel shop on sight! Seriously, you can take your dog, have a bagel and coffee then hit up the bar!

Farmer’s Market

Okay, let’s be real, we all go to the FM to see dogs, and dogs only…sometimes mimosa’s but mostly dogs. I take my Flo Babies almost every Saturday. Not only is it a good walk for them, it's a good social interaction for both dog and human! :) Bring your water and poop bags and away you go!

Dog Parks

Flo is a greyhound so she loves to go out and just run and run and run. The dog park is the perfect place for her to let loose! And she loves to sniff other dog butts which, again, perfect place for that! I swear the dog parks of Des Moines are the best kept secret. They are NEVER overly busy and only cost $20 per year for all 3!
